Mat Teacher Training is a strong foundation for anyone beginning their Pilates teaching journey. This course introduces the principles, repertoire and practical teaching skills at the heart of the Pilates method.

Through online learning and studio-based training, you’ll explore movement fundamentals, cueing, programming, progressions and adaptations for different bodies and needs.

You’ll build confidence, deepen your understanding of movement, and begin developing your own voice as a thoughtful Pilates instructor.

The Fundamentals module lays the groundwork for your Pilates teaching journey. You’ll build a strong understanding of anatomy, Pilates principles, breath, biomechanics and foundational repertoire, giving you the base you need before moving into more specific Mat training.
